We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in cloud platforms, automation, DevOps practices, and production support, with the ability to mentor junior engineers and collaborate across teams.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure & Architecture
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS / Azure / GCP
- Ensure high availability, scalability, performance, and security of cloud environments
- Manage cloud networking, IAM, compute, storage, and database services
DevOps & Automation
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Automate deployments, monitoring, and system operations
Monitoring, Security & Reliability
- Monitor cloud systems and troubleshoot performance and availability issues
- Implement security best practices, cost optimization, and compliance controls
- Perform incident management, root cause analysis, and preventive actions
Collaboration & Leadership
- Work closely with development, security, and operations teams
- Review architectures and provide cloud best-practice recommendations
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 5–8+ years of experience in cloud engineering or DevOps roles
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS / Azure / GCP
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix administration
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools
- Knowledge of Docker & Kubernetes
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar)
- Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid environments
- Exposure to security frameworks and compliance standards
- Experience supporting enterprise or mission-critical systems
